Trip to Vietnam Part 4

today is the 3rd day and the final day here in Vietnam
Nothing on the adgenda~
The Mr tour guide also told us...
Like normal my parents wanna do last min shopping...
so around 12.00pm we went to the Benthanh market ..
KIDS STAY in the van...lol...
So we stayed....while 3 of them went down to buy...
Then we were brought to the to Airport  same one...as we reached
Actually its very early as our flight was 3.05 pm
We reached around 1.30pm....>< so early....
Well, we cant check in oso...so we walk around the ground area doing ntg...
I think i wemt toilet twice just to wash hand...LOL!....
So quiet here....
Then...last min shopping at the airport after we check in
Run here run there....
Terminal 15 changed to 12....>< terrible...
then last min oni enter the plane...MALU...lagi teruk
they called our name through the microphone...sumore...

Well we are not the last of course....
Then the plane moved...Felt kinda Sad...

Continue Part 3

After taking a short trip around the river...
We reached back to our main boat that we sat just now..
Here we are served with some fresh coconut juice...taste like medicine...
I tell you..i m not a big fan of coconut but if you want more..you can ask...i guess
We reached to the mainland again where toilet is the most important feature there!
THE WHOLE ISLAND HAVE NO TOILET... Seriously...
Empty your bladder 1st before you walk...
Next, its lunch time!
FOr today's lunch menu...we head to a Chinese Restaurant where normal chinese cuisine is served
Restaurant Baieh Tung... haha...the most awsome dish I ever seen...
Big bloated Rice ball...LOL...bigger than the size of a sepak takraw ball...
lol!!!!
Then we went back to the mainland...Saigon City...
After the nice 2hours rest...in the van...we came to the busiest market in town...Its called the CHina Town Market...Here we did some shopping...The place seemed like an old hall ...selling soooooooooooooooooo many things...and talk about no space! Seriously...everything is next to next to next to each other....
worst than pasar malam...The shop is not filled with people buying but people carrying stuffs and shopkeepers!

Back to the hotel...Finally!!
I washed my face and turned the tv on!
while enjoying a hot cup of warm coffee!
Free HBO...why waste it? lol....
Then I went to the gym ,...excercise a bit haha...
6.00pm our van came...DIner time...
TOday..our last dinner here...we went to a kinda fancy restaurant...on land..
named Thanhra...the food i tell you...
Superb....LIke 'em all! haha...soo soothing the surroundings and not forgetting the awsome fish!
haha....watermelons again...with pineapples...lol
Then...After dinner we walked to the Benthanh Market,,,(we walk our own)
We bought some souviniers...Like my necklace...for quite pricy price...lol..bargain...><
Belts, shirts and keychains at a better and cheaper price...
Tired of walking i went back to the hotel 1st...
I used the free computer,...
Sleep..............................................................................
2nd day gone....1 more day left!!!

Trip to Vietnam Part 3

Day 2
Woke up around 7.30am...and ate breakfast at the hotel's restaurant , Blue Sky Restarurant...located on the 12th floor....
Then around 8.30 am the journey started again...We were brought to Mekong river
which took a 2 hour journey ...(sleep in the van)
When we reached  there we took a boat to the small island where the coconut tradisionally candy were made..
there is a few island surrounding the island...special names...
Unicorn Island , Dragon Island , Phoenix Island...etc..
The candy taste too coconutish...
=P Fully 'santan' flavour like that ...
The tour guide also gave us to taste different types of sweets...such as
banana flavour ...(cant remember e d)Then the tour guide brought us deeper into the rural jungle which is readily paved for the tourist...
Got a small stall selling sumting like kerepek...A bit too garing e d...
U should see how they fry without oil and pans...just pure olden and tradisionally made kerepek...
We bought some shirts around the island...as we walked and walked...bargain after bargain..

Then we sat on a BECA (Vietnam style)
They move the beca by using horse power (get it? haha)
One horse pulled 6 of us on one small carrage...
The surroundings there seemed like a normal housing area where people live...
We were then brought to a big stall...near a "lorong"..
Here, we were given a taste of pure honey homade , fruits like coconut salted with sugar , langsat ,longan ,dragon fruit etc.
We were entertained by opera like singing...(kinda lame) haha,...
Bees flying around you...>< LOL!!!
Now, here comes the most scariest and kinda fun part too!
THE RIDE ALONG MEKONG RIVER...(SMALL PART OF THE RIVER)
Here.. we are suppose to enjoy the view and the excitement of the ride on the boat...
lol..but the fear of the deep water with the Venice like boat...and the uneven in balance boat..really makes you worried...Crocodiles??? ><.........

Continue from part 2

After the trip to the Post Office...The driver brought all of us to our hotel...
Suprisingly you can see almost all the shops, hotels and even small stalls share building...(the buildings are tall)
All of it were cramped up in one area...like 5 shops cramped into 2 shops...imagine...
haha...we check in at the hotel named Elios Hotel...
There was a white Christmas tree being set up there...Well not fully decorated yet of course...
A warm greet and not forgetting the WELCOME drink...haha...(every hotel we went last time also have)
Pineapple juice...(Oh yeah, be ready for pineapples also..as there will be many restaurant will be serving this also) The time there was around 5.30 pm...

We checked in to the room 606 and 607..
One big one small room...the room is fine..so as the bathroom..Love it! Even the tv! hahaha....
HBO, KBS , Disney and CN! haha...=P
they also have gym and parking space for only motorcycle!
Its quiet outside the corridor but still peaceful...despite the silentness...
Then after resting up and recharging my inner battery...
Around 7.30pm we went for dinner as our tour guide waited for us at the lobby and brought us to Saigon RIver.. the ship named Tun Saigon a.k.a. Saigon Cruise Ship...
A SHIP for dinner...haha...a real moving ship..like in France people, usually they have dinner on a cruise..(something like that) but this is Asian style...so..the ship looks old and smells fishy..haha...
There they serve...spring rolls , vegies , soup etc...The most noisiest part is when the Japanese people next to our table ...made so much noise...lol...Singing so loud ...>< Even the Korean people who was sitting next to the japanese group...lol...><...
After Dinner...the ship started sailing across the Saigon River and there was many...I mean a lot !
of performances...by talented and not so talented people...on board...
The Chinese tourist...sounded like a toad...but still wanna sing lol...I could see the Japanese and the Korean people...showed some funny faces when she sang...haha!!

After dinner we decided to go back to the hotel and rest up!
8.00am must wake up 2moro....
Nites! ahha....

Trip to Vietnam Part 2

Part 2 (Day 1 )


I forgotten one thing to mention in my last post...
When you're at Vietnam....Please be prepared to (as what I went through this 3 days)
a. Prepare yourself with bottles of water if you're here on the Dry season
b. Be ready to handle dishes with fishes...(almost every meal I ate fish)
c. MUST! Eat Vietnamise Spring Rolls!!!
d. Vegetables ( Baby sawi) (mostly all reastaurant we went serves this)
e. Soup with 2/3  green vegetables
f. Know well your mandarin! ( As some part of Vietnam the locals there knows how to speak )
e. Know your numbers well...(the currency , DOng , consist of big numbers..like 100,000) ><
g. If you're out of budget...please spend well on certain areas as some may sell much more expensive than others
h. Watermelons everywhere!!! (all deserts!)

Well...Here are the bits of my 1st day in Vietnam , Ho Chi Minh City
The fight was around 12.30pm...And we reached there around 2.50pm (Vietnam)
We reached to  Tan Son Nhat International Airport .
We flew there by Vietnam Airlines...Free food haha...Fish ><..
The only thing I can see on air is big fluffy clouds creating small turbulance ( kinda fun!)
But seriously the clouds here were truely huge and shapy
On our arrival...
I chased our luggage from the luggage counter and practically looking high and low for that bag
Next , We saw our tour guide .. He introduced himself as Mr Hai..
He was LIKE a tour guide...not like my previous visits to other countries...I was hoping for a lady to be our tour guide but we cant be choosy...(Girls are more INTO their job and more knowledgable as what I know)
He was okay and the begining as slowly I realised I could not REALLY understand what he is saying...
(Vietnam American English) I could pick up some of his words...

Then the driver drove us to Restaurant The Chateu for lunch
Vietnamese Language is a mixture of France, Cantonise, Mandarin and Hakka...
SO thats why its called Chateu
Here again...Fish...is served as a main dish...
Fruits ..Watermelon...haha...but one thing is special here...that is the Cravings of pineapple in to a chicken! haha...
Ps...Drinks need to pay...>< We din know that the drinks needs to be paid as what we thought that foods come with drinks...
After filling our tummy, we went to the President Palace...Here is all the meetings and all important political stuffs happend in the olden days were agreed here...
Then, We went to the War Reminants Museum...
Pity the Vietnamese people in the days where they were colonised by the Europeans ( not sure which)
the toxic gases harming the foetus ..you just need to experience it urself then you will knw why...
Missles , guns, ammo...and many other reminants of the war is published here...Headless people , deformed people , dead children and women were all killed mercilessly in the war...

As we carry on with our trip...IT drizzled...
But still it did not stop us from visiting the Minh Phuong Art Centre...HEre is where all creativity level and patience comes to be tested..You can see how the people here try to varnish and (dunno how to say this) put the egg shells and Seashells to form an art ...Seriously You need patience and also skills...
Continuing our journey...we went to the famous Notre Dame Catholic Church...We din get to enter as it was the church's service is going on...Sad ...=( I was hoping i could see and enter this famous , huge and beautiful church...but we manage to get a glimps of it from outside the church...It is really unfortunate for us as it was really a waste...Opposite the Church is the French Post Office...HEre ..um..cant really explain...but it is also a tourist attraction....inside it looks like the olden days post office...(Harry Potter 1) really very old...Left and Right of the Post Office , there is a shop selling souviniers...~ Fixed price but still kinda cheap~..haha

Trip to Vietnam Part 1

 Congratz to myself as I m back to the blogger's world!
SPM is over that is the 1st thing I would like to say...
After SPM I m really lost on what I m suppose to do...seriously..
Driving lessons? Working? Learning few other languages?
Well I will have to depend on what comes and goes in life...but maybe i will start working 1st...
haha.........anyways....3Days 2 Nights there...
 VIETNAM was like visiting in another dimension... ......Seriously.
We went to Saigon city...and there were plenty ...I MEAN A LOT......
of motorcycles! U cannot believe what i have seen there....Gosh...the number of  motorcycles on the road are out numbered!
There are still cars but the cars majority owned by tour companies...For tourist..
The road system is a little bit hetic as the traffic light and roads are pretty unsystematic...
Here comes the fun part..haha.,..there are soooo many motorcycles on the road...and guess what...
during busy times..especially during the day and night (around 7.00 local time) the road is packed with motorcyclist...Here the road as you could imagine...hard enough to cross..haha...Funny part is
we need to wave our hands in the air to show stop! haha...really...haha...But the best part of it is that we can still cross the road...(not so safe) and on the road itself you can see the locals' skills to avoid hitting you as I conclued THE LOCALS THERE HAVE THE BEST SKILLS IN RIDING AND AVOIDING MOTORCYCLES... haha....Well this is the 1st part...=)

Gosh its like time just swept away as fast it could

I m scared coz exams are really really near...Gosh...
left 1,2,3...6 more months for us to study n fully understand those subjects
Weak against physics n addmaths will not make my path easier
Wished I could ask help from anyone who is very good but I dont know what I wanna ask
oh and about mid year...BAD RESULTS! for my bm...
I was aiming high until teacher told me that my essay was wrong!
GOSH BRAINS READ THE DAMN QUESTIONS! T^T
my mistake...READ THE QUESTION!!!
==lll rush like hell for what!!!! >< scholding myself for nothing now
its all too late...
Language is my power but it seems like I m going down...
Think optimistically : dont worry I still have paper 2 to help!

This hols week also...my old friends frm SK 1 held a reunion which I could nt make it..
I wanna go of course but I m nt in my state at that time!

Happy teacher's day 2011

Well...it started off like an ordinary morning...
Finding people but there was no one at all...
Then slowly there was one or two came..
I walked to the Bilik Pengawas n there they were..the whole troop was getting ready for the Main Event today...
Balloons, Flour and many other stuffs were prepared...haha

Then we stood in a straight line shaking teacher's hand..Greeting HTD also...
Then here comes to Boring speeches...Bla bla....
Teachers went for breakfast later on...
soon after that The explorace begins....
haha,..funny part n very frustrating part too...
Water balloons were choose like going to the Pasar Malam buying fruits...
Smaller the better I suppose? =)
haha..There was the "GO" sound spoke by Toon Meng who was trying sooo hard to handle the event..I gave up ><
Soooo susah!~

Then I waited for a while...
YK came n showed me the script she did...(for the hall shows)
I walked through all the checkpoints to see whats going on...
haha...than I found one checkpoint which students are allowed to burst teacher's balloons ...
(cheers!)
haha...But I din get to BURST EVEN 1!!!
Walk n walk...sooo tired...I decided to go back to the tapak perhimpunan n get ready...
LOoks like 1 group is here...THEY DEMAND FOR BONUS Bcoz they were here 1st...NO WAY..haha
We waited n there was all the groups...all the teachers on the stage attacking us..who was counting the marks n saying that It is not fair...WE Want bonus..it seems
Gosh I was kinda...a little frust...I can control them even tough thats my checkpoint!
Luckily TM came I passed the microphone n said TM u handle...
WTH..IT WORKS...tm came n then wow...a silent atmosphere was there...
hearing him...arguing with him...
Then there was the SURPRISE PRIZE
haha...I was told to ask the teacher's forgiveness..." Yes" they said they forgived haha...
then without any furthur delay...I SHOUTED WHATEVER! (as a sign to indicate KL's group)
haha...from the third story building water balloons were thrown...
Teachers din see that comming!
Suddenly I also kena the air..WTH!
Idiotic person splashed on me!
I was wet when I continued my job at the dewan!~

The dewan was packed...I dont feel like doing any emcee job anymore at that time...
Felt like wanna faint!~ >< legs were sore...
I went all out tried to finish my job...

Back from exams...
3 weeks...what do I think about it?
Good? Bad? okay? a little work?
I just can say *nothing*
rather speechless!

Today was the last paper which I have never touched for a long time..Chinese paper..
haha..
today also I got my bm , phy n mm marks..which is overall rather okay...
2 A's n 1 B or C not sure there haha..

Kinda moody tough..(some peoples)
Bm I was sooo close on getting an A~
sometimes I think that A is not enough..
when I think about that others will think that I m boasting..
WTH!? its my paper my results! So what!
Fish off! So what I used a negative motivation? (in a good way)
Its not like ur gonna support me or anything!...
Just stop!
Only causing people pain n suffering!
Hate me fine!~ U think I m useless? Good..!
I m okay ..!

But today also..
Happy story haha..
finally this few days we are talking like normal friends again!
=) school activity is making me feeling more lucky..haha..
thats the only time I can talk with salts..
easier to keep that way rather than talking to her awkwardly...
kinda...actually...
but something tells me that she just likes to talk but nothing ever makes any sense..haha..
I always try to act like a scholar ( not sooo wordless) but I cant..
my eyes blink..lips n tongue twist..><

The Night to remember!~

Wow! yesterday was amazing...
WJ, Saw, KK, KL and SM all of us went to my mom's school...
We went there for the Valentines CNY celebration^^
The huge hall was my fav of course~=P
haha..but it was not that chilly as i told them^^ haha..
The event started around 8.30 pm...b4 that I went dinner at the 3rd floor..
4th floor where the event is...
sooo many performances!~ Singing n dancing,...event karate..
Mostly students frm Hin Hwa...(wished my school have all this)
Their shows were amazing n fun to watch..

Later in the middle of the show..KK asked me to bring them for a stroll around the school..
haha...WJ n SM takut got G**ST
^^ well I m too...a little...its at night so anything can happend..
Well too bad i got home earlier...I wanna see the dragon dance...!!!

CNY Jalan-jalan

today went 6 houses non-stop haha...
Tired of course but it is really an enjoying day for me..
1st we went to Suk Mei's house then Yu min...
Later on Su Yen...after that, Yu Min's parents drove us to Kit Keong's house...
here we played 21 luckily I did not lose! (filling my bladder!)
Then we went to Saw's house...We ate steamboat..
^^ haha...12 people shared one boat! (=P)
so cham I sat in front of the steamboat mechine...
Everyone who cant reach attacked my area n fill their bowls...
Saw then introduce his cousins....
Jian Peng got affection here
really fun..! wanna try drinking shandy but scared bladder full!

Then after that we walked to Wee Jee's house...
Cozy n warm house..look like orang putih house a bit~...
Her mom is a funny lady^^ Making the room soo joyful..!
hehe...
Her dad bought KFC but could not taste coz tak cukup masa 4 me...tooo bad..haiz..
^^ nvm maybe next time!!
Well all 12 of us really did enjoy ourselves today

Chinese New Year sparks

Yup CNY is here again for the 17th time in my life^^

Just b4 2010 end in the chinese calender let me say 1 thing~
This year memang terrible! Jawatan all get Setiausaha n Pen.Setiausaha
Typing like 10000000000000 words yesterday...siao e d..!
thats ok..at least a few of my friends helped...^^

Horray...blink of an eye...2011 is born..=P
haha...well since last year I din blogged ed..
Maybe busy?? form 5 is a tough year~ STUDY is always a MUST~
=) most of us are still not on a stress level..hehe...
Normal..thats all I can say...

I m worried actually ( haha...pessimist)
this year I wont be ready for the biggest exam of my life with all this internet addiction
but still...I m trying (==)
